OUR TEAMS
Ormond Netball Club teams play in competitions in the following age groups:

9 and under mixed

11 and under mixed

13 and under mixed

15 and under female

18 and under female

18 and under mixed

Open female
All 9U, 11U and 13U teams are mixed teams and may consist of both females and males, with no restrictions. In 15U and 18U we have female only teams, and we also have several 18U mixed teams. There are no restriction on the number of females or males in the 18U mixed teams, however only 3 boys can be on court at any one time, one per third.
We welcome whole teams wanting to join the Club, as well as individuals looking to join a team.
WHERE WE PLAY
All our teams play in the CDNA competition at Duncan Mackinnon Reserve in Murrumbeena, located on the corner of North Road and Murrumbeena Road.
There is parking at the courts, however this fills up very quickly on match days. Parking is also available in nearby side streets and on Murrumbeena and East Boundary Roads. There is also public transport near the courts, including the 630 bus.
We also enter teams in various external tournaments throughout the year. Tournaments are not compulsory but they do provide players with a great opportunity for additional match practice.
Our players do not need to live locally.
WHEN WE PLAY
There are two seasons during the year. The first – the Autumn season – runs from February to June. The second – the Spring season – runs from July to November. There are no matches during school holidays.
The 9U and 11U competition takes place on Friday nights during the season. All other competitions are run on Saturdays, between 8.00am and 2pm.
TRAINING
Training takes place each Wednesday for an hour. Training times are dependent on the coaches' availability and the availability of the training facilities. All training takes place at Duncan Mackinnon Reserve. Training may be cancelled due to weather. If this is the case, your coach or team manager will notify you in advance.
UNIFORMS
All players taking to the court must wear an Ormond Netball Club uniform. Uniforms are available to purchase through the club. Click here to visit our Uniform page.
CODE OF CONDUCT
